Senior Scientist
Michael Carmody received his BS in Chemistry from the University of Detroit in 1972 and a PhD in Organic Chemistry from The Ohio State University in 1976. He worked 32 years in the Research and Development Laboratories at Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY and joined Intrinsiq Materials in 2011. Mike joined NCC Nano in 2018 as Senior Scientist. His work has focused on the development of novel materials for imaging systems and properties and development of inkjet inks. Since 2011 he has focused on inkjet inks and screen inks using nano copper for printed electronics. His management experiences include Laboratory Head of Kodak Dye Research and Director of the OLED Devices R&D lab. He has served as adjunct faculty at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Monroe Community College, and SUNY Brockport.
